Port Medway Readers' Festival set to being 2017 Season!
July 8th marks the start of the 2017 Festival season in Port Medway, as author Helen Humphreys entertains the audience at the Old Meeting House. Humphreys will be reading from two of her novels "The River" and "Evening Chorus".
Tickets for this event are $20.00 and include both the reading and food and beverages at the Port Medway fire hall after, where the author is present to sign copies of her books which are available for sale at the fire hall.
July 22nd features author Darren Greer, reading from his 2016 book "Advocate", the heart-rending tale of a strained homecoming mixed with memories of a community convulsed by the fear of a mysterious virus.
August 5th ends the season with Ami McKay as she reads from her latest novel "Witches of New York". This is a social history and story of three entreprenurial witches who open a shop in 1880's New York City, where they encounter the commonplace cruelties of the time.
